Taylor Swift took to Twitter on Thursday morning to react to the news of the mass shooting that erupted at a church in Charleston the night before.
“Plane landed, turned on my phone, and my heart dropped to the floor,” she wrote. “Charleston…. This is an unbearable loss of lives and innocence.”
On Wednesday evening around 9 p.m., six women and three men were killed at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in what law enforcement officials are calling a hate crime.
