Steve Harvey’s ex-wife, Mary Harvey, is suing the talk show host for $60 million. In the filing, she alleges child endangerment, conspiracy against rights, torture, kidnapping, breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. In an unusual claim, Mary also alleges that Steve murdered her soul.
“Soul murdering is a crime not a diagnosis,” her legal filing states. “Soul murder is achieved by a combination of torture, deprivation and brainwashing.”
The couple was married for nine years before divorcing in 2005. They share one son, Wynton, 19, whom Mary claims Steve kidnapped in 2005.
