When the Ice Bucket Challenge to benefit ALS research took the Internet by storm this month, David Spade was quick to participate.
Although the actor declined to pour a bucket of ice water over his head, he revealed in his Instagram video that he would be donating $100,000 to the cause.
When questioned by a TMZ photographer about what led him to make such a sizable contribution, the actor revealed that it’s because his uncle had the disease, and he witnessed firsthand how difficult the struggle can be.
