Disney star Jake Paul will be parting ways with the network after a controversial video of the young actor went viral. Paul, 20, who lives in Los Angeles with a group of friends who call themselves Team 10, jumped atop a news van during a live KTLA broadcast in which his neighbors complained of noise disturbances in and around his house.
His exit from Disney has been deemed mutual by the network, and it is unclear whether the video played a role in his departure from his starring role in Bizaardvark.
“I love my cast mates and will continue to support Disney but I have outgrown the channel and feel it’s time to move forward in my career,” Paul said in a written statement.
