After the LA Times mistakenly identified a photo of Danielle Brooks as “Parks and Recreation” star Retta, the publication made a sweet attempt to smooth things over. They sent flowers!
Brooks took the whole thing in stride and accepted the newspaper’s apology. She even shared a photo of the flowers on social media and captioned the pic with a zing of her own.
“Righting your wrongs is never a bad thing,” Brooks tweeted. “Thank you NY times for the flowers, oops I mean [LA Times] 😉 “
