When Blink 182 rose to fame in the ‘90s, Travis Barker says he was “very young and wild.” Now, as the band begins its first tour in five years, Barker says he is a different man.
“I’m feeling younger and better now than I did when I was 20,” Barker, 40, told People Magazine. “I just feel so blessed.”
That wasn’t always the case for Barker, who has struggled with drugs and alcohol, especially after surviving a plane crash that killed four of his friends. He credits his kids with changing his life.
“I started running, I boxed every day – it’s just something that made me want to be the best parent I could be,” he says.
