The Walking Dead season finale left fans reeling about who succumbed to Negan’s vicious baseball bat, but the October 23 season 7 premiere provided gruesome answers.
In scenes that proved shockingly violent even for a show that’s known to push the boundaries of brutality, viewers watched as Negan and his barbed wire-covered bat beat Abraham, played by Michael Cudlitz, to death. In a second outburst, Negan then killed Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, in an agonizingly slow and painful beating that viewers will not soon forget.
If the premiere is any indication, fans are in for a wild ride as the season continues. The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
