Lana Del Rey recently had an interview with The Guardian. When talking about idols of hers, such as Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse, Lana reportedly said “I wish I was dead already.”
Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, did not enjoy that statement very much. Cobain took to Twitter to advise Del Rey to cherish her life and do not think dying young is the cool thing to do.
Lana Del Rey responded to Cobain blaming the situation on her interviewer. She said that the interviewer was asking leading questions and her words were twisted.
