Tennis star Venus Williams took to Facebook on June 30 to finally address her deadly June 9 car accident, which left one man dead.
“I am devastated and heartbroken by this accident. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Jerome Barson and I continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers,” Williams wrote in the emotional post.
The fatal collision occurred in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where Williams, 37, resides. She was found at fault for violating the right of way, and the family of the victim has filed a lawsuit against her.
