Just days after announcing her pregnancy, Keshia Knight Pulliam’s husband, Ed Hartwell, filed for divorce. The Cosby Show alum and the former NFL player have been married for just seven months.
Upon filing the divorce papers, Hartwell alleged that Pulliam cheated, saying, “the only thing I want is a paternity test for the baby.” Pulliam sat down with Entertainment Tonight on July 27 to defend her reputation, saying that Hartwell was actually the unfaithful spouse.
“I wanted to try to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child,” Pulliam, 37, said. “I had divorce papers ready. Once I was pregnant I did decide to give him that one last chance.”
