Erin Andrews was bravely smiling for her on-camera work as a sportscaster and Dancing With the Stars cohost this past fall, but behind the scenes she was secretly struggling with a cervical cancer diagnosis. The star, 38, received the news shortly after settling her $55 million lawsuit with Marriott stemming from a stalking incident.
“After the trial everyone kept telling me, ‘You’re so strong for going through all of this…'” Andrews, 38, later said. “Finally I got to the point where I believed it too. ‘Hey, I have cancer, but dammit, I am strong and I can do this.'”
After undergoing two surgeries, Andrews is now cancer free.
