Chloe Grace Moretz says Hollywood still has a long way to go in ending sexism and discrimination. The actress, 20, who says she was recently turned down for a role because she was “too blonde” also shared an incident that happened to her as a teenager.
“This guy that was my love interest was like, ‘I’d never date you in a real life,’ and I was like, ‘What?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, you’re too big for me’ — as in my size,” Moretz explained. “It was one of the only actors that ever made me cry on set.
Though Moretz declined to reveal the actor’s name, she said he was in his twenties at the time, while she was only fifteen.
