Britt Nilsson is finally coming clean about her past struggles with bulimia while she appeared on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor in 2015. The former waitress, now engaged to Jeremy Byrne, says she went to great lengths to hide her bulimia from producers and other cast members.
“I would take my mic off and try to hide it under towels so they wouldn’t hear me throw up, because then that was going to be on the show and that was going to be a plot line,” Nilsson said in a YouTube video. “How horrible would that be, to be the girl who has an eating disorder, who can’t stop eating and throwing up?”
Nillson also revealed a struggle with alcoholism and says she has been sober for one year.
