Ryan Reynolds may lead a seemingly charmed life, but the actor recently opened up about a mental health issue he struggled with after wrapping box office hit Deadpool earlier this year.
“I had a little bit of a nervous breakdown. I literally had the shakes,” Reynolds admitted in the latest issue of GQ. “I went to go see a doctor because I felt like I was suffering from a neurological problem or something.”
Reynolds was diagnosed with anxiety, which he believes was caused by concerns about whether Deadpool would be successful after eleven years of working toward its release. He is currently writing a sequel to the lauded Marvel story.
