Nicki Minaj surprised fans on September 4 with the SoundCloud release of her new single “The Pinkprint Freestyle.” In the lyrics, the rapper boasts of her “queen” status, reminding fans of her accolades.
“Young M.A, it’s the female Jay,” Minaj, 33, raps on the track spun over Young M.A.’s hit “OOOUUU.”
“I’m a brand, according to what retail say / Yeah, my tour she selling out on pre-sale day / Plus I got the Tidal queen stream, press replay.”
The track is six minutes long and includes shout outs to Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown and Minaj’s boyfriend, Meek Mill.
