Shortly after their split, Robin Thicke made headlines for his on-stage attempts at wooing back his then-wife Paula Patton.
Looking back on those tributes, however, Thicke says he realizes now that he did nothing more than make himself look like a fool.
“It hit me that I’d lost my perspective,” Thicke said. “What I thought was romantic was just embarrassing.”
The former couple finalized their divorce earlier this year following 10 years of marriage. They share one son, Julian, 5.
