Kid Rock’s personal assistant, Mike Sacha, died in an ATV accident on the musician’s Tennessee property on April 25. Local news outlets are reporting that it was Rock who discovered Sacha’s body.
In a moving message on his website, Rock told fans he is “devastated” by Sacha’s death, and he paid tribute to the young man’s memory.
“He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with,” Rock said of Sacha, 30. “We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family.”
