It’s official! Britney Spears and Mariah Carey are going to have some serious competition soon, as Jennifer Lopez has just become the latest celeb to ink a residency deal in Las Vegas.
Lopez confirmed the news on Tuesday, revealing that she’ll be performing at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning in January 2016.
“[It’s] just the idea of creating the show I always wanted to create,” Lopez told Us Weekly. “A tour is a different animal and to be in the one place doing a show that I’ve always imagined creating at this moment in my life — I’m very excited about it. It’s going to be everything the fans have come to know me for onstage. I’ll have dancers, hip-hop, it’s going to be a high-energy type of show that anybody can come and see, the fans and everybody else.
