There’s drama in the ballroom!
Sources close to Dancing With the Stars are reporting that contestant Vanessa Lachey and pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy aren’t getting along. In fact, the Ukrainian bad boy didn’t even dance with Lachey on the October 2 show, citing a “personal issue.” Troupe member Alan Bersten stood in as the former TRL hosts’s partner instead.
“There is a lot of fighting going on behind the scenes,” one insider says of Lachey and Chmerkovskiy’s partnership. “They’re playing nice for the cameras but both are miserable paired with each other.”
Still, Lachey posted on social media that she and Chmerkovskiy are rehearsing their next dance, so fans can expect to see them together in week four of the contest.
