Lady Gaga was “very emotional” and “crying” the moment her epic February 5 Super Bowl performance ended at Houston’s NRG Stadium, insiders say.
“[She] dove right into her sister [Natali Germanotta]’s arms” once the performance ended, one source told Billboard.
Gaga’s tears were happy ones, however. Mother Monster received an overwhelmingly positive response from the crowd after her daring leap from the stadium roof, and for her re-imagined medley of hits like “Poker Face,” “Born This Way” and “Bad Romance.”
On February 6, Gaga announced she’s taking to the road for her Joanne world tour, which kicks off August 1 in Vancouver.
