Understated is an understatement.
William and Kate – who wed in a hugely anticipated ceremony at Westminster Abbey four years ago – spent their anniversary on Wednesday night in a super low key way, driving together to Buckingham Palace for a relaxed visit.
Although the nature of their visit remains a mystery, it is believed they may have made the trek over to the Palace so that Kate could go for a swim to try to induce labor.
As previously reported, Kate is more than a week overdue with the couple’s second child. They are already parents to son George, 21 months.
