In a new interview with Byrdie, Mandy Moore opened up about a family matter that made her upbringing a bit nontraditional.
“I’ve never really talked about this,” Moore revealed. “My parents are divorced. My mother left my father for a woman. And both of my two brothers are gay.”
Moore went on to say that, although this could have made for a tumultuous family life, her parents were loving and raised their children to be their authentic selves.
“Everyone’s so much happier, richer and more fulfilled” living this way, Moore says.
