Liza Minnelli has checked herself into a Malibu rehab facility to battle substance abuse issues, her rep confirmed on Wednesday.
This is not the first trip to rehab for the actress and singer, who was offered a spot on a recent season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab, which she denied.
“Liza Minnelli has valiantly battled substance abuse over the years and whenever she has needed to seek treatment she has done so,” her rep told Us Weekly. “She is currently making excellent progress at an undisclosed facility.”
