Lamar Odom was at L.A. nightclub Bootsy Bellows on November 5 when he suddenly collapsed. In a video recorded by a witness, Odom fell to the ground near his VIP booth. Security guards rushed to the former NBA player’s side and helped him up, though onlookers say he remained dazed.
“Lamar is doing great,” his publicist Eve Sarkisyan said on November 6. “He was dehydrated last night and it was really hot in the club. He had an intense workout earlier yesterday and did not get enough fluids.”
It’s been nearly two years since Odom was found unconscious and near death in a Nevada brothel, after which time he entered rehab. It remains unknown whether he had alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of his collapse.
