Former Playboy playmate and Hugh Hefner ex Holly Madison has released a second memoir about life inside the Playboy Mansion, detailing her reasons for leaving in 2008.
“I realized what a drama queen [Hefner] is,” Madison says. “I really started seeing his true colors and I couldn’t make excuses anymore. I had to get out of there.”
Madison also says she was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the role of women in Hefner’s home.
“It was a place where you’re made to feel like as a woman, your value decreases as you age,” she contends. “And it decreases if you have something to say. It’s really not healthy.”
