As revelations continue to mount about film producer Harvey Weinstein’s long history of sexual misconduct, his wife of ten years has decided to leave him.
Georgina Chapman, 41, allegedly stood in support of her husband when allegations first emerged less than a week ago. As the evidence against Weinstein has continued to grow, however, the British designer chose to separate from the father of her children, India, 7, and Dashiell, 4.
“I understand, I love her and I love our children and hopefully, when I am better, I will be in their lives again,” Weinstein, 61, said in an October 11 statement. “I support her decision, I am in counseling and perhaps, when I am better, we can rebuild.”
