It’s been six months since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, and the Allied actor is finally breaking his silence on the split. Pitt and Jolie were in a relationship for more than a decade, including two years of marriage. In a new interview with GQ Style, Pitt describes his family as being “ripped apart” by the divorce.
“It’s just very, very jarring for the kids, to suddenly have their family ripped apart. If anyone can make sense of it, we have to with great care and delicacy, building everything around that,” Pitt said. “Our focus is that everyone come out stronger and better people — there is no other outcome.”
Pitt and Jolie share six children together.
