Amal Clooney says she has husband George Clooney’s full support to fight ISIS, despite the danger it could put her in.
“This is my work,” the human rights lawyer says of her decision to attempt to bring ISIS to justice for genocide. “This is something I discussed with my husband before I would take on something like this… And we are aware of some of the risks involved.”
Clooney is representing ISIS sex trafficking victim Nadia Murad, who suffered brutal acts of violence at the hands of the terrorists and continues to receive threats from ISIS leadership. Clooney and Murad, 23, recently addressed the United Nations together to bring light to continued violence against women and ethnic minorities.
