It was a Survivor season that lived up to its “Game Changers” moniker, and the jury finally awarded police officer Sarah Lacina with the one-million-dollar prize. After her win, Lacina shared how she plans to spend her prize responsibly.
“I’m going to give 10 percent to my church. I grew up Baptist, tithing is a big thing,” Lacina told Us. “Then my husband and I, we live in a condo now, we’re just going to build a home, and then retirement. We’re not going to spend it all.”
Lacina said she was not at all confident about her chances of winning going into the finale, and didn’t truly believe it until she had the check in her hands.
