There may be trouble in paradise for Bachelor Ben Higgins and fiancé Lauren Bushnell.
In a new interview with People Magazine, the couple opens up about their decision to seek couples counseling at their church in Denver.
“There are so many weird elements to being in a relationship after The Bachelor,” says Bushnell, 26. “You can say that’s what I signed up for, but it’s still real life and it’s still hard.”
Higgins, 28, adds, “We have our struggles. But we won’t give up. We want to get a foundation that is healthy and pure and honest, with some help from a mediator.”
The pair have been engaged for ten months.
