Elizabeth Vargas has released a memoir called “Between Breaths,” in which she opens up about the details of her third stint in rehab, and her unforeseen divorce.
In the book, the 20/20 anchor says she was completely blindsided when ex-husband Marc Cohn secretly filed for divorce while she was in rehab for alcohol addiction. Vargas and Cohn share two sons.
“It was brutally difficult,” Vargas says of the divorce. “We both love our children and we will be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives because of these two amazing boys and…we both focus on that.”
Vargas is currently in recovery from her addiction.
