New reports from the Hollywood Reporter say LeBron James has signed on with Warner Bros. to star in the sequel to Michael Jordan’s 1996 hit Space Jam.
Although the NBA superstar has yet to confirm the news himself, he has previously professed a love for the movie.
“[I] always loved Space Jam. It was one of my favorite movies growing up,” James said in a 2014 interview. “If I have the opportunity, it will be great.”
James recently made his big screen debut in Amy Schumer’s comedy Trainwreck, to rave reviews.
