When Kaitlyn Bristowe first learned that she’d be going up against Britt Nilsson for the honor of becoming the next Bachelorette, she was just as surprised as the rest of us.
“It was definitely unexpected, and I was shocked,” she told Us Weekly. “Yes – I was kind of just beside myself, because I didn’t know what to think. I wasn’t excited about it.”
Bristowe and Nilsson appeared together as contestants on Chris Soules’s season of The Bachelor and will face off for Bachelorette honors beginning tonight on ABC.
