Blythe Danner sat down for an interview on the Today show on Wednesday to promote her new film I’ll See You in My Dreams, and she used the platform to put out a statement in support of her equally famous daughter Gwyneth Paltrow.
“I know she’s the most extraordinary girl who can do everything,” Danner gushed. “Incredible mother, she’s raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for my husband’s oral cancer foundation – things she doesn’t talk about a lot. … I’m so proud of her. I think she’s so accomplished that people get kind of intimidated by it.”
In addition to being a mom to kids Apple, 10, and Moses, 9, Paltrow is also a celebrated actress and the founder of lifestyle website Goop.
