Proud mom Michelle Obama spoke to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on Live! with Kelly and Michael on Monday and took the opportunity to make a light-hearted jab at her daughters Malia, 16, and Sasha, 13, who were just named to Time magazine’s 25 Most Influential Teenagers of 2014 list.
“They are not influential. They just live here. They have done nothing to gain any influence,” she joked, before going on to praise the girls for all of their accomplishments. “They get their stuff done. They handle their business. … I don’t even think that they realize that they’re influential.”
