Neil Young has filed for divorce from Pegi Young, his wife of 36 years, with a hearing set for December.
The two originally met in a diner where Pegi was waiting tables, and Neil was inspired to write a song about how smitten he was with her. They’ve since appeared on stage together many times over the last four decades.
The couple are parents to two children: a son, Ben, and daughter, Amber.
