Beyoncé was set to headline this year’s Coachella festival, but she has backed out of her performance on the advice of her obstetrician. The rigorous performance is said to be risky for the singer as she will be in the advanced stages of her twin pregnancy during the April festival.
Coachella promoters did offer disappointed fans a bit of good news, however. “Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding,” they announced in a joint statement.
The Lemonade singer was announced as the headliner back in January, prior to her game-changing pregnancy announcement.
