It was the last time she would grace the American Idol stage, and Kelly Clarkson just couldn’t keep it together.
The reality talent show alum performed her latest single “Piece By Piece” on the February 25 episode with tears streaming down her cheeks. Idol is in its final season.
Clarkson appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, lamenting her emotional performance and partially blaming her pregnancy hormones. Clarkson and hubby Brandon Blackstock are expecting their second child this year.
“It was also nostalgic… Emotionally, I was on a slip and slide from hell,” the singer told DeGeneres.
