Earlier this summer, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge took the Internet by storm and served to raise millions of dollars for Lou Gehrig’s disease research. This weekend in L.A., several celebs continued to support the cause.
Renee Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon, Emmy Rossum and Katherine McPhee were all on hand at the Walk to Defeat ALS in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The four actresses were there to support their friend and publicist Nanci Ryder, who was diagnosed with the disease in August.
“Nanci is strong. She is a fighter,” Rossum told People. “Even though there is no known cure, if anyone can kick ALS’s ass, it’s Nanci.”
