Maroon 5 debuted the music video for their new single “Sugar” this week and revealed that they had snuck into several real-life weddings to shoot the footage.
“December 6, 2014, we’re going to drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can, and it’s going to be awesome!” frontman Adam Levine said at the start of the clip.
From there, they surprised a series of brides and grooms and their guests and were met with screams and cheers.
“Goodnight guys, thank you so much, this was the coolest thing ever,” Levine says to close the video.
