Ohio native Caila Quinn was set to hand out roses in the next season of ABC’s Bachelorette franchise, but a last-minute casting change left Quinn, 24, seemingly in the dust. On Monday, the network announced that JoJo Fletcher would be given the opportunity instead.
Fletcher was the runner-up in this season’s Bachelor after Ben Higgins said ‘I love you’ to both Fletcher and his now-fiancé Lauren Bushnell. The decision was announced on live television Monday.
Quinn responded gracefully on social media, saying, “Congratulations! Sending love as the journey isn’t over, it’s only just beginning.”
