Days before he and wife Beyoncé welcomed Prince William and Princess Kate to the Barclays Center on Monday night, Jay Z spent his 45th birthday on a family getaway to Iceland.
According to Icelandic news outlets, Bey and Jay stayed at the ritzy Trophy Lodge and arrived on Dec. 1 via helicopter with bodyguards in tow.
Scores of guests joined the couple later in the day for a party at the hotel.
