America watched with baited breath as twice-rejected Nick Viall prepared to propose to the woman of his dreams on the finale of ABC’s The Bachelor. As the final women, Raven and Vanessa, prepped for the for the big day, it appeared that Raven had no concerns about getting engaged, while Vanessa was unsure.
In the end, Viall chose special education teacher Vanessa, though questions remained about whether they would live in the United States, or in her native Canada.
“So much about me being here has to do with the past, but when I look at you, all I see is my future,” Viall said in his proposal. Vanessa happily accepted.
