A source close to Arie Luyendyk Jr. has revealed to Us Weekly that the former “Bachelorette” contestant is “pissed” at not being chosen as the reality dating franchise’s next “Bachelor.”
A day before farmer Chris Soules was officially announced for the role on “Good Morning America,” Luyendyk took to Twitter to reveal the news himself.
“I’m not the Bachelor,” he wrote on Tuesday. “Have fun on the farm people.”
The same source confirmed that Luyendyk was “definitely being considered” and that producers “really liked him.” In the end, Soules won out because, “unlike a lot of Bachelors, you know what Chris is offering.”
