The Academy for Motion Picture Arts and Sciences sent the Internet into a frenzy on Sunday night when it left legendary comedienne Joan Rivers out of its In Memoriam segment of the Oscars broadcast.
From famous names to regular Joes, it seemed to be all Twitter users could talk about.
“#Oscars feels wrong w/out #JoanRivers,” tweeted Yahoo! Entertainment writer Matt Whitfield. “Bummed the Academy didn’t include the red carpet queen during the In Memoriam.”
