During a March 7 interview with Howard Stern, Lance Armstrong spoke openly about his disgraced cycling career, as well as his former romantic relationship with singer Sheryl Crow.
“She’s a great lady,” Armstrong said of his former fiancé. “Obviously it didn’t work out, but I think and I hope she’s happy. I’m happy.”
Armstrong, 45, also addressed the massive crash and burn of his cycling career after revelations that he used banned performance-enhancing drugs, including how it affected his children.
“That’s not a one-time conversation,” he revealed. “The older kids were old enough to kind of live it with me and there was that conversation and there was therapy. There was work. It’s a process.”
