According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ, actor Bill Paxton’s February 25 death was the result of valve replacement surgery that caused him to suffer a stroke.
Paxton, 61, required surgery to correct an aortic aneurysm. He underwent the procedure on February 14, but complications arose which ultimately lead to his death at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The long-time leading man is best remembered for his starring roles in ‘90’s hits Twister, Apollo 13 and Titanic. He is survived by his wife Louise, and his children James and Lydia.
