Anne Hathaway opened up to Elle UK in its November issue and admitted that navigating her fame hasn’t come easy.
“This fame thing? F—-d me up for a really long time,” she said. “I didn’t know how to do it. I didn’t know how to engage with it. It stressed me out. And people would say, ‘You just have to be yourself,’ and I was like, ‘But I don’t know who that is yet!’”
Now, she says, she’s in a much better place as she worries less about what everyone else thinks of her and just focuses on herself.
