Leslie Jones revealed on Twitter on June 28 that designers are refusing to dress her for the premiere of the new Ghostbusters movie.
“It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie,” the Saturday Night Live actress, tweeted. “Hmmm that will change and I remember everything.”
Designer Christian Siriano, of Project Runway fame, soon replied with several waving hands emojis, indicating his willingness to design her look for the premiere.
Jones, 48, responded to Siriano with an enthusiastic, “YAAAAAASSSSSS.”
Interestingly, Jones’ costar Melissa McCarthy has also spoken out in recent years about the difficulty of finding a designer willing to work with her.
