It was 52 years in the making, but the City of Cleveland finally has a championship to call its own, thanks to prodigal son LeBron James.
In an epic victory over the Golden State Warriors, James, 31, made history by leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to an historic comeback after being down 3-1 in the NBA finals series.
“Wow. One of the best finals ever,” tweeted Jay Z. “So proud of King James.”
“LeBron did it,” added Justin Timberlake. “Everybody be quiet.”
Said James himself after the win, “I gave everything I had. I poured my heart, my sweat, my tears into this game. Cleveland, this is for you!”
